Our made to measure bridle leather belts have been added to the website. We use Sedgwicks bridle leather which I believe is the best in the world and our buckles are also hand made in the UK.
To say I'm a fan of Sedgwick's bridle leather is an understatement. When I first visited the tannery about 10 years ago I had already been using their bridle leather for a few years so seeing inside the tannery was on my list of things to do. To date, I think it is the best tannery I have ever visited. I was fascinated with their process, much of which is done by hand, slicking the hides, dying and greasing. It really was like stepping back in time.
After writing that, I think it's time I went back to the tannery with the camera so you can all see inside!
