Our Pioneer belt...
Our made to measure bridle leather belt. 1 1/2" (38mm) wide and 4mm thick. A good solid belt ready to be put to work. The design of the Pioneer belt is a little different. We decided not to add any edge dye to these belts, instead leaving the natural edges on show. Rather than dyeing the edges, we bevel, wax, and then burnish them by hand, which makes them nice and smooth.
We also opted to give the Pioneer a wider than usual keep, to match the sturdy feel of the belt. (A 'keep' is the leather loop through which the excess length of a belt is fed, near the buckle.) Finally, we added our little logo to the keep.
