Product care
Product care
I make my products to stand the test of time. These collars are crafted from a durable, natural leather which will only look better with age.
However, you can give your collar some extra TLC by:
- Wiping any dirt from the surface of the leather with a damp cloth.
- Buffing out small scruffs or scratches from wear using a cotton cloth. This brings the natural oils to the surface of the leather.
- Feeding the leather with Original Sedgwick Leathercare to protect and replenish the natural oils in the hide. Please note that this product will slightly darken the colour of the leather.

Each leather collar is handmade to order in my workshop, using traditional techniques. It takes up to one week to craft a collar, from the point of order to shipping.

More information
Made for unrivalled fit and functionality, the Bridle Leather Dog Collar is crafted from world-renowned J & E Sedgwick bridle leather.
Each collar features hand-bevelled, burnished, and dyed edges, and is finished with my signature logo on the tip. With five evenly spaced adjustment holes, the collar offers a reliable, comfortable fit.
Designed to look good and built to be exceptionally hard-wearing, every piece is cut, stitched, and finished by hand in my Lincolnshire workshop using time-honoured leatherworking techniques.
How to Measure Your Dog’s Neck
To find the correct collar size, wrap a soft tape measure or a piece of string around your dog’s neck where the collar will sit. Make sure to leave enough room to comfortably fit two fingers between the tape and the neck - this ensures a snug but not tight fit. The measurement you get is the size you should order.

Crafted from the finest materials
Bridle leather is the natural choice for strength and durability - and I use the best available. My leather is sourced from J & E Sedgwick of Walsall, a world-famous tannery known for its superior hand-finished hides.
Solid brass hardware comes from Abbey England, a family-owned foundry dating back to 1832, and still the only traditional brass foundry in Britain.

Proven in the field
For nearly 15 years, these collars have been worn by working dogs, family pets, and everything in between - enduring the daily wear of fieldwork, walks, and weather.
Crafted from traditional bridle leather - the same material trusted in horse tack, where failure isn’t an option - they’re made to perform and built to last.

Made in England
Made start to finish in my workshop in Grantham, each collar follows the same slow, careful process I’ve used for years - with time-tested tools and traditional methods. Patterns are drawn by hand, cut with bespoke knives, stitched, burnished, and finished without compromise.
Built with intention. Built to last. No shortcuts - just good, honest craft, shaped by over a decade of detail-driven work.
